I went to imdb.com and put in Valley of the Wolves and read the user comments. The sad thing was that many people gave this movie 10 stars and said that it was the truth. They actually believe that Americans rape and kill innocent people and that we sell their organs on the black market!! The commenters said that Americans are living in a bubble. But they seem to forget that many Americans have or had relatives that went to Iraq.(I personally had two) So most Americans do not have to rely on the media to get information about Iraq. We live in less in a bubble than people think. I lived in a Pakistani neighborhood in New York and got plenty of news from Pakistan. I can read Russian so I can go online and read the Russian news. I was a teacher of English and most of my students came from other nations and told me their points of views. I’ve heard points of views from all over the world and believe me, America is far from being a backwards media bubble. I know that I am not the only one by the way!

My Ukrainian students told me that Muslims wear the fingers of Christian children around their necks. Pakistanis and Malaysian Muslims truly believe that Americans go to Iraq to purposely kill Muslim children. (read this in a newspaper while in Kuala Lumpur) Koreans believe that the Japanese are helping North Korea because they are afraid of the reunification of Korea. My Serbian students refused to be friends with the Bosnian Muslim students. (they told me that Muslims took their farm and they watched their grandfather get killed)I guess that America isn’t the only country that gets a bad rap. One thing I noticed from my travels to Asia, is that people around the world are very racist! I was a naive American girl who thought America was the only nation that had racist people. I guess prejudice and hate is unfortunately a universal problem.

People seem to forget that America is filled with people and points of view from all over the world. The government does not control the media (and you can tell!!), you can voice you opinion no matter how strange. If someone says that Jewish doctors are harvesting the organs from Muslim children, I can freely check the source and know that is nonsense. The “videos” of Americans raping Muslim virgins was found to be fake. I know most Americans only want freedom for Muslims and for Muslim women.

So those in Turkey who believe that Jews harvest the organs of Muslim innocents, please ask a Jew if it is true. You will find that Jews and Americans are pretty cool people that do not care if you are Muslim or Turkish. Most of us have a Muslim neighbor!! We have sometimes a sick sense of humor, but not all Americans think that is funny. Some still have grace and respect, believe it or not. America is not perfect. But we are not close to the sick world of Saddam Hussein or even worse, the Taliban. If you hate America so much, don’t come to our universities and stop getting tourist visas to come here to make illegal money. I think you really, really deep down like us. (I know deep down we like you!)

“Serving the Enemy on Film

Steven Spielberg portrays a sympathetic view of terrorists in Munich, George Clooney blames America for exploiting the Middle East, and a film glorifying suicide bombers gets the Golden Globe. If all the latest anti-American themes coming out of Hollywood weren’t enough, now information emerges that actors Billy Zane and Gary Busey have co-starred in a new anti-American and anti-Semitic foreign film produced and shot in Turkey..

The film, titled Valley of the Wolves-Iraq has a Turkish intelligence officer hunting down US troops who allegedly murdered innocents in Iraq. It culminates with the evil Americans, played by Zane and Busey, being killed at the end in a dramatic shootout with the Turkish protagonists.

Busey’s role calls for him to use his histrionic talents to portray a Jewish doctor who works at Abu Ghraib and removes body parts from innocent Muslims to sell to recipients in New York. Busey’s career had already moved from being a “B” actor to a “D minus” one, but this latest project should finish his American career.

At least one can only hope so.

Zane who co-starred in the top grossing Titanic has found another sinking ship with this film and obviously couldn’t care less about his career. He has been appearing in more and more low budget films lately and has lost his once good looks along with his hair. Now he’s apparently going for personality defects as well.

Advance ticket sales are allegedly brisk for the Turkish flick. The story is supposedly based on a military attack made in error by US troops on Turkish special forces out of uniform who were mistaken for Iraqi insurgents. The film is the most expensive production ever shot in Turkey, with a $10 million dollar budget. Using Hollywood stars Busey and Zane would no doubt account for a major part of the film’s budget. But one has to ask, why would established American actors, no matter how desperate, make such trash? And are they really desperate or just greedy and irresponsible?

Busey has been arrested lately in domestic assault cases for beating up women, and he recently assaulted actress Robin Quivers on the Howard Stern Show, his latest prestigious appearance in US media. Maybe he does such things to relate to the Muslim world’s treatment of the fairer sex. However, he says he has found Jesus through music (which must help him in his role as the organ-stealing Jewish-American army doctor). Most likely he can’t get a job even though his estimated weekly pay on a film is $250,000. For that kind of money, why not slander American soldiers fighting terrorism and the Jews, right?

Zane has been starring in foreign films so this must be his foray to develop his al Qaeda fan base. His weekly SAG rate probably exceeds the over-the-hill Busey’s.

American actors are hired by overseas production companies to lend name recognition in the US and European markets to sell tickets. Without them this would have been just another Muslim world anti-American film. But with US movie stars in this film, it will be used to promote the idea of the evil US government that really has no support from the American people themselves. You see, the Muslim world just loves us average Americans all to death. As one Turkish model said after the premiere in Turkey, “Everyone knows that Americans have a good side. That’s not what this is about.”

Of course it isn’t. It’s about the rogue American government and those nasty Jews who control it. And thanks to name recognized American actors, viewers overseas can assume it’s all true, no matter how perverse.

For both of these actors to appear in a film that portrays American soldiers in Iraq as mass murderers who engage in atrocities, and to repeat and update the blood libel of Jews as harvesters of body parts is an outrage. An opinion poll taken by Associated Press about how these roles will affect their careers revealed that 71% of respondents felt the film roles will hurt the two actors’ careers. What a surprise.

Maybe next time we see them perform it can be at a dinner theater in North Dakota.”

I love Bernard Goldberg and have read his book “Bias”. You might be surprised about who he puts on his list. There are conservatives as well as liberals. Of course liberals far outnumber the conservatives. Most on the list are media types though Al Gore ranks pretty high. (I think after his recent stunt in Saudi Arabia, he might be ranked higher!) I also think Cindy Sheehan might make a lovely addition. This book was written before her nice little visit to Venezuela.

This book really should be rewritten every year. People who are screwing up America in 2006. . . mmmm Harry Belafonte, Cindy Sheehan, Al Gore would rank higher, so would Jimmy Carter! The year is still young. I am sure some conservatives (especially those against tolerance. . . note I said tolerance not multiculturalism) will make it as well. Bill Clinton’s need to get his face on camera to voice his opinion about something going on in the world makes me sick, but doesn’t exactly qualify as screwing up America in 2006. He did a great job of that in 1998. Oh oh oh, I forgot!! Billy Zane and Gary Busey for starring in that anti-American Turkish movie.

My mother always had her list: Ted Kennedy, Diane Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, and Hillary Clinton. Al Gore is too crazy to pay attention to in my opinion. I believe he must be the angriest man in America! Hillary Clinton hasn’t shown her true colors yet.

This is the definition of multiculturalism from the Ayn Rand Institute, probably the best definition I have seen:

“Multiculturalism is a growing force in America’s universities and public life. In brief, multiculturalism is the view that all cultures, from that of a spirits-worshiping tribe to that of an advanced industrial civilization, are equal in value.

Since cultures are obviously not equal in value—not if man’s life is your standard of value—this egalitarian doctrine can have only one purpose: to raze the mountaintops. Multiculturalism seeks to obliterate the value of a free, industrialized civilization (which today exists in the West and elsewhere), by declaring that such a civilization is no better than primitive tribalism. More deeply, it seeks to incapacitate a mind’s ability to distinguish good from evil, to distinguish that which is life promoting from that which is life negating.

We are opposed to this destructive doctrine. We hold that moral judgment is essential to life. The ideas and values that animate a particular culture can and should be judged objectively. A culture that values freedom, progress, reason and science, for instance, is good; one that values oppression, stagnation, mysticism, and ignorance is not.”

This definition does not merely describe multiculturalism, but it also explains why it is dangerous to our freedom, and why possibly those who wish to take away our freedom would support it. It is confusing and packed with lies usually. They attack Christians from years ago who oppressed others and kept the populace in ignorance, but pooh-pooh around Muslims who are doing that today. Very ignorant and hypocritical if you ask me.
