A Woman’s Work
I am very tired. I just moved with a two month old and breast feed every two hours. I had a week long cold and just started birth control which is giving me bad side effects. My two and four years cry all day partly because they are sick and partly because they hate moving. I get no help around the house because I am a woman and “housework is women’s work” (whatever!)!! Unfortunately I am the only woman in this house. Wondering how I had time to type this? I am now feeding my two month old. And no, I am not a single mom!!! (yes I am being very passive aggressive)

Housework is women’s work!! Not in my book, yet that’s the way it is around here. Who cares that there are times that I can hardly walk, let alone stand around washing dishes or making dinner. What does it take for some guys to learn?!?!?

The pictures make the mess look better than it is. I did fix up the kid’s room finally and they are actually playing in their room, especially since I banned them from TV the rest of the day. (my daughter isn’t whining anymore! So I guess too much tv was the culprit. . . gotta go, baby’s hungry!)
