Sweet Home Alabama
I am in the middle of nowhere, AL. Thus, I have a slow internet connection. I can’t do anything fun. I will add that I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had a great time talking to my grandparents. My husband LOVES my grandmother so I am glad there is someone in my family he relates to.
We looked at an old scrapbook my great grandmother kept. She is still alive and 92 years old. This was a scrapbook she kept in the 1970s. I really wished I got to know her better. She is such a funny woman witha great sense of humor. I was a musician. She played the mandolin, guitar, and piano. She wrote the funniest songs. I remember as a child her singing to us. She also was very religious and kept some poems about Jesus. People wrote poems about her. She is such a great country lady. She grew up poor in the South and worked hard all of her life. I hope to visit her again soon.
Her name is Nannie Mildred Warren Johnson from Dyer, TN.

Yes, what a great time! I especially love hearing your granddaddy’s stories on the temple.
It was great seeing everyone.
