William henry Fowler was born on 17 March 1872 in North Carolina and died on the 29th of January 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia. He do not know who his parents were. We know he was in Iredell County and worked for the railroads. He married Theadora Deaton in 1891 when he was 19 years old in Barringers, North Carolina.
In 1900, he and his young family lived in Charlotte, North Carolina where William Fowler was a Baggage Master (?) according to the U.S. census. Sometime before 1907, the family moved to Atlanta where William Fowler worked on the switch crew for the Railroad.
Soon he became the yard conductor for the railroad according to the 1920 census. William Fowler had an old Irishman boarder staying in their home in Fulton County, Georgia. We still have a small glass pitcher from Ireland from that boarder.
William Henry Fowler died in 1927. He is buried at the Hollywood Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is the end of the Fowler line. We do not know who his parents were. We know according to the census that he was born in North Carolina and before he turned 19, he lived in Iredell County, North Carolina. If anyone knows anything about William Henry Fowler, please let us know!
