Today is the traditional Wednesday baking day. I decided to do some baking of my own. I planned to make some Uzbek non for my family. I planned to wake up at 8:30, but my daughter woke me up at 7:30 coughing. I then had to nurse my son at 8 AM. I decided to go ahead and wake up.

I dressed and got myself ready for the day and then fed my kids breakfast. I cleaned the kitchen and cooked my husband’s breakfast by 9 AM. I then got everyone dressed to take them out to music makers at church. I enjoyed listening to my talk radio in order to hear what is happening in the news. Why are they still talking about Anna Nicole Smith??

I met a friend at church a little after 10AM. Music Makers was canceled. The one week I make it to music makers, and they cancel it. So I did the perfect housewife thing and met my friend at McDonald’s to let our children play. Another housewife refused taking her children instead to the library. Oh, well. We had a lot of fun and my kids got free ice cream.

I came home, fed my baby and tried to get my two year old to nap. By 2 PM I was finally able to start making bread. My baby woke up, but since my husband is currently at home, he rocked the baby while I kneaded bread. At the time I was kneading bread both sons decided to mess in their diapers. Again, my husband was kind enough to change their diapers as my hands were covered in dough.

I was finally done kneading the dough and put it in a metal bowl and covered it with a cloth. I decided that the perfect warm place for the dough to rise would be in the oven. I let it rise.
