Saturday

Saturday was another depressing day. We got our severance pay but most of it was gone due to taxes!!
I spent most of my morning griping about taxes. If I wasn’t taxed so much I could buy a house, an additional car, and I could even invest more. I am poor and I DO NOT WANT the government to provide medical care for me. The job of the government is to provide security through the fire department, the police and the military. I would rather pay for toll roads than have a huge chunk of my income taken out. That way I could choose whether or not to take that road. Florida does that. I love Florida’s toll roads. Other than that, leave my income alone.
Now we cannot buy a house or a car. We have to live in a stupid apartment. Instead of a nice park with a playground, I’d rather have a nice backyard with my own playground.
In addition, it snowed. I hate snow!! Florida and Texas are looking really good to me right now. I hate taxes and snow. So back to the south I should go.
Ok, gripe over.
Tonight was Asian night and I made some chicken curry, Japanese style. I was able to clean the kitchen and I had to do some laundry because Aron spit up on all of his clothes and threw up all over my sheets. My apartment is still a mess. I want to do more but my back is in pain. I only had the energy bathe the kids.
Today’s focus was to have fun and to forget about how depressed I am. We went to Toys R Us and then to the mall. At ngiht we watched The Guardian. I usually don’t like Kevin Costner, but he did a great job in this movie.
