Kindergarten Science Lab

Of all the programs at Victoria’s school, I am most impressed with her World Language classes and her Science Lab. I guess because they did offer such programs when I was in school. I don’t even remember going to Music class and our PEĀ  and Science was running away from the bully who smeared frog guts all over a stick.

Another reason I am impressed is because I am not that great in Science. I love Biology and Anatomy but those are not hard sciences. I am HORRIBLE at Chemistry. I think if I really tried I might do alright, but I was never real interested in the Hard Sciences and Math. I am trying to teach my daughter now to love the Hard Sciences and Mathematics so I am pleased that her school introduces Science at an early age.

Now, Victoria is studying guppies in school. She diagramed the parts of the fish and they are observing guppies. I forgot to get a book on fish when I went to the library! I’ll have to remember next week. We have a Beta Fish at home so that helps her learn about fish too.
