Mirena Side Effects

Goodness! The past few days I have not been myself. Well, I haven’t been myself more than usual. I am super tired and irritable and I feel like my brain is floating in my skull. I have hot and cold flashes and a feeling that the world is over. I feel like my body doesn’t act in the way I want it too and I am very dizzy and clumsy. I am making many many typo errors. At one point I was ready to go to the ER because I began to have a panic attack.

These feelings are not new and I have had them among other things since going on Mirena. I had trouble before with Depo Privera so I have a history of not reacting well to hormonal treatments. I am tired of feeling fatigued and helpless. I am also very achey. My joints are in pain and I strain my wrists and ankles all of the time. I have never had problems with my wrists until now. While on the computer my hands shake. If I walk a lot my hips ache and I hurt my ankle over and over again.

Right now I am really off. I can’t focus on anything and I don’t have the will to do anything except write in a blog about my problems. Sounds like symptoms of depression. THe last time I had symptoms like this it was caused by the Depo Privera. Also, my vision is horrible and I really want to get that checked out.

I really want to take the Mirena out and try another method.  With three kids and an emotional husband, I need all the strength I can get. I really believe that all of my problems originate with the Mirena.

Hi, I can certainly relate to the depression and anxiety. You may find this site interesting, http://www.medications.com/se/mirena.
