Crayons in the Dryer
Last week I was still suffering from my annual month long cold. I was trying to prepare for our trip to Nashville and get all of the laundry done. I noticed that my clothes in the dryer had purple spots all over them. After searching for a pen I discovered crayon paper in the lint trap and that the dryer was dyed purple making all of the clothes purple.
I panicked for a few minutes, then looked online. It seems that crayons go in the dryer a lot for there are many web pages with advice on what to do. I scrubbed the dryer with a mild abrasive cleaner with bleach for an hour. I got all of the purple out. Then I washed a load of towels and put them in the dryer. Then I rewashed my clothes. The purple came out for the most part.
My mother told me she found a marker in the dryer. I guess it can be worse. . .
