The Happy Homemaker

Last night I took the kids to gymnastics class for a trial class. Jon Jon went first and then Victoria. This was Jon Jon’s first class. He listened to his teacher and loved the trampoline, but otherwise seemed to be tortured for an hour. I think I will wait until next year to put him into gymnastics. The gymnastics class was wonderful and pretty strict. They spent the entire 45 minutes working hard. Jon Jon was exhausted at the end and even fell asleep in the car.

Victoria loved the class. At almost 6, she handled an hour of exercise and hard work better and enjoyed the challenge. She learned quickly and had a lot of fun. We will definitely sign her up this year.

The gymnastics classes are very intense and serious. They don’t mess around and will honestly tell you how your child does. They train children to compete and I like that atmosohere. It fits Victoria’s serious and competitive nature.  The class will give me something to look forward to while Aziz is away.
