National Peanut Butter Day
The blog The Online Recipe Box has a page on the National Food holidays. There is a holiday for each date. I think it is a good way to plan a menu.
Today was National Peanut Butter Day which was interesting because I ate the usual snack my father eats when he is hungry, peanut butter sandwich and barbecue potato chips for lunch. For some reason that combination makes me think of my father. Elvis is peanut butter and banana, my dad is peanut butter and barbecue chips. When we were kids we would put the barbecue chips in our sandwich. We thought we were so cool. So when I am having a rough day and need to eat something quick, peanut butter and Lays barbecue chips together brings me back to my childhood. What weird food combination brings you back to yours?

I love peanut butter and banana sandwiches! Tomato, cheese and onion sandwiches bring me back to my childhood visiting Scotland. My grandma always made those sandwiches for me.

The only thing I love that might be a little different is Wendy’s fries and sour cream. I can only eat Wendy’s fries with sour cream
