She is Really Not Feeling Like “The Man” , Or What You Will
We are still sick. We have this annoying little head cold. Victoria missed her second day of school. She had a 103 degree fever last night and is still dizzy and weak today. I am also very weak. Taking care of three small children alone is difficult. Doing it sick is even worse.
I woke up in so much pain this morning that I almost was in tears with every step. I ate some oatmeal and fruit and taook my vitamins. I am hoping that will help since I forgot to take my vitamins the past few days. I am trying so hard to be strong, but I think I want to move with my husband in Virginia sooner rather than later.
One of the positive things about being sick is that you get to catch up on movies. Yesterday, Victoria and I watched the cutest movie, “She’s the Man” which is based on the Shakespeare play, “Twelfth Night”. It stars Amanda Bynes who used to be on The Amanda Show.
From IMDB- “Here’s the thing Viola’s soccer team at Cornwall got cut so she wanted to join the boys team, but they did not allow. So she thought “If you can’t join them, beat them”. And so she does, she disguises herself as her twin brother Sebastian, and goes out for the Illyria Boys Soccer Team. But she didn’t plan falling in love with her roommate Duke. But the thing is Duke has his eye on Olivia. The thing that makes matters worse Olivia starts to fall for Sebastian who actually is a girl and she/he has a sensitive side. If things couldn’t get more problematical the real Sebastian (who is in London working on his music) comes home early. He arrives on campus and has no clue that he was replaced by his twin sister. ”

Hi,…sorry you’re all sick. This might help (if I did it right). It’s by my composer buddy Phil Glass–he did it a long time ago. I know, the music will sound strange. He’s evolved, though. He did the music for ‘The Hours’, which is what led me to your blog.
Se, I’m not such a badguy after all.
Hope you all feel better,
Fran T

It is so hard when the whole family gets sick especially for the mom! Kids can sleep all day and get well quickly but moms need to take care everyone and everything.
