Not so Super Night

Wednesday 6th February 2008 - 2:59:45 PM

I was up all night trying to hear the news. It wasn’t because of Super Tuesday. We had tornado warnings all night. I was worried and could not sleep. At 10:30 I heard a rumbling and my lights flickered. Forty miles away a tornado touched down in a rural area and killed almost 30 people. Lightning struck a natural gas pipe and it exploded. My cable was cut off so I watched TV on the computer once I got it working again. Brick homes in LaFayette, TN were flattened and many were killed. Near Jackson, TN tractor trailers were toppled over. It was a very sad night. You could feel the sorrow in the winds.
