Marathon 18 month old

It seems that when toddlers reach 18 months old they receive this burst of energy that never burns out. Right now my youngest, Aron, is in that stage. It is time a when strollers are absolutely needed. If you don’t bring a stroller, be prepared to run and fight your toddler into you are exhausted.

I made this mistake yesterday when I went to the bowling alley to attend a birthday party for one of Victoria’s friends. Victoria loved bowling, of course the bumpers were up, and did as well as I do! Aron, with my help, made a spare! The kids ate pizza and then played in the arcade. It was fun except, because Aron was “free” I ended up spending most of the time keeping him from running on the bowling alley. He discovered quickly that the alley is greasy! He thought it was funny to step over the line and make the foul buzzer go off! He also tried to chase the bowling ball. Other than that, it was fun.

I spend most of my day chasing after Aron, keeping him from eating something he is not supposed to. That boy puts everything in his mouth! His favorite thing to eat is pencil erasers and crayons. It is fun to clean up too let me tell ya!

I am proud of Aron, he stayed in nursery today without crying! I got two hours of freedom today as a result.

Right now, I am ready to go to bed. I feel like I just ran a marathon!

We went bowling last week and had the same problem with Sariah after about 3 time outs she finally decided that colouring was more fun.

I know what you mean. It’s exhausting. I’m getting tired of Maddy throwing cheerios down the stairs.
