Gifted Children?
There is a wonderful article from parenting.com that talks about gifted children and the overuse of the term. The article also gives advice on the best way to teach small children under three. Click here for the article!
I think the article is right. Just spending time with your children is the best way to teach them. The great thing is that is exactly how my mother taught us growing up. That is why I was able to read before kindergarten. My mother read tons of books to me everyday. If I had a lot of questions about a topic she would take me to the library and get us books on the topic.
Thanks Momma!

I agree, I haven’t pushed my children to learn anything but they both love learning. Sariah has known all her alphabets for several months and she can recognize a few words and even Rebekah who is only 13 months can say a lot of words and even pretends to read! However I don’t lable them as ‘gifted’ I believe that each child have their own areas that they are really good at. I am sure Aron, Maddie and Sariah all have different things that they are better at than the other child.
