The Happy Homemaker

Lately blogging has been such a challenge. I do not understand how people work from home. I am sure they have some sort of system that I would like to know about. It is even difficult for me to check email or the news sometimes.

My sons need constant attention. A blog post takes me a lot of time to write because I am constantly interrupted. Usually it is because Aron pooped or Aron and Jon are fighting. Usually it is because Aron and Jon are fighting.

Aron has to have whatever Jon has. Two minutes ago he didn’t want any Transformers which he calls “ah oh oh oh oh “. Then Jon gets out Bumblebee and all of the sudden Aron wants “ah oh oh oh oh!” Then they fight.

I started a chart for Jon that on days he doesn’t hit he gets a smiley face. That has worked so far/ Anytime he is about to hit Aron I say, “no smiley face!” and that seems to be enough. With Aron I say, “Aron is in trouble!” and then I take him to his room to his naughty chair. So far we are making progress though sometimes when I say, “Aron is in trouble!” he will say back, “no, Mommy is in trouble!”
