ABOUT ME
I am a “Girl Raised in the South” (GRITS),originally from Memphis, TN and later moved to Chattanooga, TN. I am a former socially liberal multiculturalist (though always fiscally conservative), now a Conservative Libertarian. I hate guns, but love to have neighbors that do. I love international politics and studied Asian politics and economics in Korea. I majored in English Literature, planning to go on to Graduate School but had a family instead. I still love other cultures, I just no longer believe that they are superior to my own culture. I believe all cultures have positives and negatives and that people of the world can learn from each other. I am against abortion and do not feel that anyone has a choice to kill a fetus and believe that the Democratic party made a mistake to put abortion rights on their platform.
Politics is my main interest and history and foreign language is my next. I also love ethnic cooking and my house smells like kim chi. I currently live in the Washington D. C. area and love it.
I have three kids, one girl and two boys and I am a proud homemaker and believe that homemakers still have an important role in society as the original community organizers and activists, teachers, accountants, and the protector of the weak and suffering. Our role isn’t to be perfect mindless dolls having perfect spotless homes. Our role is to raise strong, respectful, responsible children, manage our homes, support our husbands, and remain active in our communities. I don’t think we need more government, I think we need more active homemakers.
